Meet our faculty Dominique Beurdeley at IESA Arts&Culture
After graduating with a double-degree in management and art history, Dominique Beurdeley began her career at Nordstern, an insurance company specialised in guaranteeing art collections and exhibitions. In 2000, She began at AXA ART, where she was responsible for working closely with collectors and collection managers to inventory collections, confirm insurance appraisals but also to analyze and recommend preventive conservation methods with a view to signing specific art object contracts.
Today she advises on artistic heritage management mainly for collectors. She is also a speaker on the theme of preventive conservation and insurance of works of art for art professionals and students specializing in the art market (IESA, University of Lyon III, Paris II Assas Pantheon etc.). On occasion she also works with other audiences such as foreign students or carries out specific missions with various organizations including IFROA, INHA, INP for young curators or as a consultant for museum institutions. She teaches art insurance to our MBA in Contemporary Art: Sales, Display & Collecting students at IESA International.
