Jean-Pierre Constant: Expert in Decorative Arts and Renowned Educator at IESA, Sorbonne, and Dior Academy

Jean-Pierre Constant is an educator and author based in Paris. At IESA arts&culture, he teaches the History of Decorative Arts. Constant also teaches at the Camondo School and the Dior Academy and previously lectured at CEA-University of New Haven until 2016, when he transitioned to the Sorbonne-Paris 3. He is also a national guide and lecturer affiliated with the Musée des Arts Décoratifs (MAD)

Constant completed his doctoral thesis on François Mauriac and the arts in 2008, focusing on the decorative arts and fashion, subjects he now teaches.

He is the author of "Le Guide des styles: les meubles à toutes les époques" (Hachette, 2018) and "François Mauriac et les arts: entre clair-obscur et clairvoyance" (l'Harmattan, 2020), the latter being a publication of his thesis. He has also made several appearances on Stéphane Bern's programme "Visites privées" in 2016 and 2017.
