Exciting news from art curator Olga Korovina, a recent MBA Contemporary Art : Sales, Displaying, and Collecting program graduate! Exhibition 'Les jardins dans une tasse de thé' featuring Slovak/French contemporary artist Michal Korman at Hotel Le Scribe.
Curated by Olga, the exhibition comprises twelve artworks, produced specifically for this project. The artist explores the rich history of the Hotel Le Scribe and connects it with the different characters who visited this hotel in the past. The name of the show comes from the book In Search of Lost Time by Marcel Proust, symbolizing the powerful ability of sensory experiences, such as taste and smell, to evoke vivid memories and transport individuals to past moments.
Through his meticulous attention to detail, Michal Korman invites the visitors to explore the depths of the hotel history throughout their senses, revealing the interconnectedness of seemingly unrelated moments and the profound impact of history.
Les jardins dans une tasse de thé is the first contemporary art exhibition in the Galerie des Images at Le Scribe. Michal lives and works in Paris and has participated in to prestigious fairs such as Art Basel Hong Kong, Art Tokyo, Art SG, represented by Pearl Lam Gallery.
