Bianca Wilson: A Journey from Classroom to Industry
With a lifelong passion for the performing arts, I began my career as a Theatre and Film Secondary teacher in Australia. Seeing the potential to inspire young people through the arts motivated me to pursue an MBA in Performing Arts Management and Entertainment at IESA. This journey aligns perfectly with my dream of making a more significant impact on the arts community.
Choosing the January intake enabled me to transition smoothly from the classroom to the industry level of the performing arts. This timing provided an uninterrupted flow of creativity and learning, fitting perfectly into the rhythm of the academic year and allowing me to embrace the program's opportunities. It also enabled me to share my ideas with the fall intake students, encouraging peer-mentoring and networking opportunities.
Throughout this MBA program, I have blended practical teaching experience with advanced management skills, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the performing arts industry from a business perspective. This unique combination of skills and knowledge is driving me towards a future where the arts are not only preserved but also thrive in innovative and sustainable ways.
IESA has enabled me to pursue my passion for the performing arts while offering opportunities to grow, learn, and thrive. The MBA in Performing Arts Management and Entertainment is a fantastic opportunity to further develop a career devoted to fostering creativity, inspiring future generations, and ensuring the arts remain a vibrant and integral part of society.
