With over seven years of engagement within the art sector, Isha Chaturvedi has specialization in the modern and contemporary Indian art market.
Currently while working for Ashvita's Fine Art and Collectibles, she handles Client Relations, Sales and is their Exhibitions Coordinator. After her Bachelor's in History, she pursued a master's in Art Conservation from the National Museum Institute, New Delhi while simultaneously managing the media partnerships for Indian Art Fair 2016 after which she moved on to work as a collections manager for Delhi Art Gallery (DAG). In 2019, she took a sabbatical and pursued a dual degree in MBA in Art and Cultural Management from IESA Arts&Culture Paris and Paris School of Business. Her masterʼs thesis revolved around the state of CSR in the Indian art and cultural sector. And as part of her final project, she curated an exhibition on the ongoing migrant crisis in Europe with an online exhibition titled ‘Urban Semioticsʼ.
Currently, at Ashvita's, her role expands to curatorial ideation, content creative, writing and project management and overall auction operations. Isha has also published her writings in Indian and international art publications and blogs. She wishes to write more about the art market and is interested in developing an integrated art education program for the next generations of professionals in India.
