Reflections on an Enriching Journey: My Experience at the IESA Master's Program in Contemporary Art
I am deeply grateful for the enriching experience provided by the Master's program in Contemporary Art at IESA, Paris. This past year has been transformative, broadening my artistic horizons and opening up exciting opportunities.
The program’s thorough exploration of contemporary art, combining theory and practice, has significantly shaped my artistic vision and skills, thanks to the dedicated guidance of our professors and esteemed faculty. The connections I made with fellow artists, scholars, and professionals through collaborative projects and discussions have been invaluable, enriching my understanding of diverse perspectives in the art world. One of the highlights was curating my first exhibition, “Vessel for Soul,” in Le Marais.
Additionally, living in Paris allowed me to immerse myself in its vibrant art scene, visiting iconic museums and attending key cultural events, each enriching my creativity and insight.
The educational trips to Berlin’s museums and the Venice Biennale were also pivotal, exposing me to global contemporary art dynamics and further deepening my appreciation for the interconnectedness of art and society.
As I move forward, I am excited to start a new role in art logistics in Miami and to collaborate with private clients on art sales. These opportunities will allow me to leverage my expertise and continue exploring the intersection of art and commerce.
Thank you to IESA for your unwavering support and for equipping me with the skills to pursue my passion in contemporary art. I am proud to be an alumnus of this esteemed program and am eager to contribute to the art world in the coming years.
